Located
in Ziarat, Baluchistan, Quaid-e-Azam Residency, is a place which is a must
visit when you’re in Pakistan. It holds a great importance since the father of
the nation of Pakistan spent the last days of his life here. This place is some
152 km from Quetta the capital of Baluchistan. Baluchistan itself is a
beautiful province. It has its own beauty in those sandy mountains and curved roads
live the simplest people who find happiness in the smallest of things. The
route to Ziarat is very nice and you will find many apple orchards on the way.
Baluchistan itself is a dry province but this place is green surprisingly and
has a very pleasant wind. The weather there is really nice especially in the
months of August and September. You might like to stop by and pluck an apple or
two from the orchards. They’re so fresh and tasty. When you reach your
destination a tour guide will accompany you and show you around. It is a huge
place and has huge gardens and the residency. The building is very beautifully constructed
and has been kept in the original way, but the renovations have been done off
and on. When you go inside, you’ll see various rooms and windows that have been
kept the same since the 1940’s. The doors and everything you can think of. Even
the decorations. You’ll be made to visit the living rooms and the bedrooms and
the place where the doctor of Quaid e Azam used to reside. Everything has been
kept just how it is. And of course, you’ll be asked to take off your shoes
before entering the residency so that it is kept neat and clean and that it
doesn’t get dusty with so many people entering. You’ll be made to go to the
balcony so you can enjoy the most mesmerizing view of the entire place and
click some really nice pictures! After you’ve completed your visit here, you’ll
be taken to a small complex which has recently been made in the memory of the
late leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah. It is a small theme park and also has small
places to eat where you can sit and relax and enjoy with your family because
you’ll definitely be tired when you take the visit. You might as well be taken
to an only waterfall in Baluchistan. All of this is a part of the visit. That
waterfall is between two mountains and since Baluchistan is a very dry place
its nothing less than a miracle over there. You will enjoy the hike till there it’s
a very challenging path it keeps changing but what you see afterwards is really
a surprise and you’d go in awe. Truly nature is beautiful every place is so
unique from the other. Everywhere you go you find something different than
where you live so if you’re visiting Pakistan, I’d suggest you visit this place
and enjoy the cool atmosphere and the serenity away from the hustle bustle of
city life. It will surely make a difference!
